The site is comprised of wooded and grassy areas on stepped hills surrounding a little lake. The grass is thick and a deep green. The main path through the campground is newly paved asphalt.
First, access into the camp ground is via a long, winding PAVED driveway that takes you through the trees. When you get there, the first thing you see is the little petting zoo. Very neat.
Then you see the man's log home, and a little admin building that looks like a bait shop. That's where you pay and rent equipment/buy firewood, etc.
This is a privately owned camp ground. This old fella owns all the land and has put together a beautiful place.
Over all, a very clean, very beautiful and scenic spot to camp.
It's a nice place. I have not been there in 15 years though.
They allow tents and RVs, and they have power hookups (110 and 220). They rent canoes for people who want to paddle around the lake.
There are clean toilets in one out-building (men side and women side) as well as a shower/sink building with coin-operated showers.
